We respond to all Code Blue and CAT calls. We run our own codes inthe unit. Organizational focus on bedside reporting, whiteboards, and CLABSI, CAUTI, & HAPU reduction. Early Mobility Protocol to reduce ventilator days and decrease length of stay. Nurse Driven Foley Removal Protocol to decrease foley days. Managerial daily skin checks with a goal of zero HAPU. LifeLink for organ donation Management of critical drips per facility protocol (Levophed, Neosynephrine, Vasopressin, Cardene, Cardizem,Amiodarone, Propofol, Precedex, heparin, etc.) IV placement and lab draws Cardiac? we do not perform open heart? STEMI and NSTEMI? hypothermia protocol post cardiac arrest? Impella? Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump? temporary transcutaneous pacing?
