Travel Nurse RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care - $2,963 per week in New Haven, CT

This position involves caring for critically ill patients. The nurse will manage complex medical needs and work with interdisciplinary teams. The role requires experience in arterial line management, ventilator management, and care of ventilated patients. Duties include monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and performing bedside procedures. The nurse will also assist with chest tube insertion and removal. A strong understanding of infection prevention and isolation precautions is necessary. The position requires flexibility to float to other ICUs and related units as needed. Weekend coverage is anticipated. Candidates must be able to interpret dysrhythmias and arterial blood gases.
