Travel Nurse RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care - $2,983 per week in Hagerstown, MD

Job Opportunity – ICU Registered Nurse – Maryland

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: Maryland

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 36 guaranteed hours per week, 12-hour shifts with every other weekend requirement, 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio

Highlights:

• High-acuity ICU environment caring for trauma, cardiovascular, stroke, and neuro patients
• 24-bed unit with an average daily census of 18 patients
• Epic EMR system utilized for all documentation
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and physical therapy
• 24-hour orientation provided with ongoing educational support
• May float to IMC within scope of practice to meet facility needs

Requirements:

• Active RN license in good standing (pending licenses considered)
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience required; 3 years preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Epic charting system experience required
• Strong experience with critical care skills including ventilator management, vasoactive drip titration, hemodynamic monitoring, CRRT, intra-aortic balloon pump, and external ventricular drains
• Trauma Level I or II experience preferred
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required with no exemptions available
