Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years of recent ICU experience License: Compact License or Wisconsin License required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - BLS and ACLS certifications in hand - NIHSS certification may be pending at submission - Two recent supervisor references, one from the most recent assignment and one from the second most recent assignment - Strong CRRT skills required Description: This is a night shift position, consisting of 4 shifts per week. Every other weekend will be required. The candidate must possess a compact license or a Wisconsin license. The following certifications must be in hand: BLS and ACLS. NIHSS certification is required but can be pending upon submission. The nurse will be responsible for floating to IMCU (stepdown) if needed. A video interview will be required depending on candidate eligibility for the position. The ideal candidate should have experience managing patients with complex medical needs. Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills are essential for this role. Team collaboration and effective communication with interdisciplinary support staff are vital. Additional skills required include emergency medication administration, ventilator management, and the management of various monitoring systems. The nurse will provide care for adults and geriatric patients. A commitment to infection prevention and patient safety is necessary.
