Key Responsibilities of the RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit- Provide specialized care for post open heart surgical patients and those requiring intensive cardiovascular support.
- Interpret and manage Philips monitoring systems and titratable drips.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including respiratory therapists and monitor techs.
- Float to various levels of care as required, taking full team responsibility.
Requirements of the RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit- Current BLS (AHA) certification required; ACLS preferred, CCRN a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of CVICU experience with ICU travel assignments.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment with complex patient care needs.
