Travel Nurse RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care - $3,139 per week in Newark, NY

Schedule: 12-hour shifts with every other weekend coverage; 2:1 patient ratio; floating required as neededHighlights:

• Manage critically ill patients in a 9-bed intensive care unit with interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, physical therapy, and radiology
• Work with advanced ICU skills including arterial line management, vasoactive drip titration, continuous IV sedation, central line care, and blood product administration
• Epic charting system utilized facility-wide
• Comprehensive 12-hour orientation program with pre-start modules (up to 5 billable hours)
• Professional development opportunity with charge experience highly preferred
• Adult patient population with daily census of 7 patients

Requirements:

• Active New York RN license required in hand prior to submission
• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience; previous travel experience required
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS (required)
• Epic charting system experience is mandatory
• Charge experience highly preferred
• Must reside outside 75-mile radius of facility location
• Proficiency in critical care skills including cardiac drip titration, dysrhythmia management and interpretation, emergency medications, IV insulin protocols, and procedural sedation
• Experience with medical and surgical intensive care environments
• Limited pre-approved time off (maximum 10 days per contract period)
