Travel Nurse RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care - $3,164 per week in Antioch, CA

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Adult Services Specialty: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 12 Hours Hours per Shift: 07:00 PM to 07:30 AM Experience: 1 year of recent full-time equivalent ICU nursing experience within the last 3 years is required. License: Registered Nurse License in the state where care is provided. Certifications: Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support. Must-Have: Graduated from an accredited nursing program. Description: This position involves providing critical care to patients in the ICU. You will be responsible for assessing patient needs and implementing nursing interventions. Collaboration with other healthcare professionals is essential for optimal patient outcomes. Strong communication skills are necessary to effectively interact with patients and their families. You should be prepared to handle high-stress situations and make quick decisions. A bedside manner that is empathetic and reassuring will greatly benefit patient care. This role may involve administering medication and monitoring patient responses. You will also be expected to maintain accurate patient records and documentation. Continuous professional development and adherence to the latest best practices is essential. Preference may be given to candidates with a Bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field. Candidates with two years of recent ICU nursing experience are preferred. Holding a NIH Stroke Scale Certificate and CCRN certification is also preferred. Experience with dialysis or SLED is a plus.
