Travel Nurse RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care - $3,170 per week in Newark, NY

Job Opportunity – ICU Registered Nurse – New York

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: Newark, New York

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 12-hour shifts with every other weekend required; patient ratio of 2-3 patients per nurse; floating to other units as needed; 12 hours of orientation provided

Highlights:

• 9-bed intensive care unit with daily census of 7 patients, providing focused critical care in a manageable environment
• Epic charting system utilized throughout the facility
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory therapy, pharmacy, physical therapy, social services, and radiology
• Adult patient population requiring advanced critical care interventions including vasoactive drips, arterial lines, and continuous sedation
• Up to two pre-approved time-off periods available during assignment
• Travel assignment with candidates considered from outside a 75-mile radius

Requirements:

• Active New York RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience required
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Previous charge nurse experience highly preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Proficiency in critical care skills including arterial line management, central line care, vasoactive drip titration, blood product administration, IV sedation, ventilator management, and dysrhythmia interpretation
• Must reside outside a 75-mile radius of the facility
• Flexibility to float to other units as needed
