Travel Nurse RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care - $3,337 per week in Arlington, VA

Job Opportunity – ICU Registered Nurse – Virginia

Start Date: October 2026 (exact date dependent on EPIC training schedule)

Location: Arlington, Virginia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Nights, 3x12-hour shifts per week (option for 4x12s with overtime after 48 hours); every other weekend required

Assignment Length: 13 weeks

Highlights:

• Intensive Care Unit (ICU) position with a minimum 2-year ICU experience requirement
• EPIC EMR system utilized; training provided based on prior EPIC experience level
• Flexibility to choose 3x12 or 4x12 schedule (indicate preference at time of application)
• Float opportunities to CVICU/CVSD and Cardiac Telemetry units as needed
• Must have completed at least one previous travel nursing assignment
• Smoke/nicotine-free facility with comprehensive orientation and support

Requirements:

• Active Virginia (VA) state RN license or Compact license in hand at time of submission (pending licenses not accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience
• Previous travel nursing experience (at least one completed contract)
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Willingness to float to other hospital units including CVICU/CVSD and Cardiac Telemetry
• COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Flu vaccination required during flu season, October 1st through March 31st (medical exemptions only)
• EPIC charting experience preferred; training class assignment based on experience level
