Must-Have:
Must have the ability to float to other facilities and departments.
Completed references must be provided at the time of submission.
Candidates must have experience with the following specialties/devices: ECMO, IABP, Impella, LVAD, CRRT, and PA Catheters.
Recent ECMO experience within the last 6 months to 1 year is required.
Experience caring for ECMO patients as a bedside RN and as primary responsibility without dedicated bedside perfusion support is necessary.
Ability to independently manage complex critical care patients is essential.
Strong interpersonal communication skills are required.
Description:
This position requires the ability to float to various units, including all ICU, TCU, ED, and PACU departments.
Candidates should have a strong background in cardiovascular critical care, transplant, mechanical circulatory support, and multi-organ support therapies.
Experience in managing multiple support devices such as ECMO, CRRT, or IABP is highly desirable.
All travelers must have experience with ECMO, IABP, Impella, LVAD, CRRT, and PA Catheter.
Candidates with limited or no experience with advanced cardiovascular critical care populations or mechanical circulatory support devices need not apply.
Prior ECMO experience will be considered one component of a broader competency profile.
Candidates must be prepared to function within a floating position across various units as needed.
