Shift: Nights | 3 x 12-Hour Shifts
Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours per Week
Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill adult patients in the ICU.
Perform patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and respond rapidly to changes in patient condition.
Administer medications and treatments following physician orders and hospital protocols.
Operate and monitor critical care equipment and life-support devices.
Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
Document patient care accurately using EPIC.
Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and recovery.
Active Alaska RN License
Minimum 3 years of recent ICU experience
Current BLS Certification
Current ACLS Certification
Acute Care Hospital
6-Bed Intensive Care Unit
Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: Typically 2:1 (occasionally 3:1)
Charting System: EPIC
Medication Systems: Meditech & Pyxis Supply Stations
Standard 3-day department orientation
Medication competency testing required within the first two weeks
Night Shift
12-Hour Shifts
36 Guaranteed Hours Weekly
