Job Summary:
The ICU Registered Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality care to critically ill patients. This includes monitoring vital signs, administering medications, managing life-support equipment, and coordinating with the healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care in the Intensive Care Unit.
Monitor and assess patients’ conditions continuously.
Administer medications and IV therapies as prescribed.
Operate and manage ventilators, infusion pumps, and other critical care equipment.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
Document all patient care activities accurately and promptly.
Provide emotional support to patients and families.
Qualifications:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Minimum 2 year ICU or critical care experience.
BLS and ACLS certifications required.
Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
