Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Neurological and Surgical Intensive Care Unit setting during night shift hours
- Manage and monitor critically ill trauma, surgical, and neurological ICU patients
- Utilize Epic EMR for accurate and timely documentation of patient care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Adhere to facility dress code requirements, including navy blue scrubs
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 2 years of ICU staff experience, specifically with trauma, surgical, and neurological ICU patients
- Trauma Level One experience required
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Proficiency with Epic EMR required
- Must be able to complete a competency test within 24 hours of submission
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience managing high-acuity, complex neurological and surgical critical care patients
- Familiarity with protocols and workflows in a large academic medical center environment
