Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a Neurological and Surgical Intensive Care Unit setting on night shift
- Manage and monitor trauma, surgical, and neurological ICU patients requiring complex, high-acuity care
- Utilize Epic EMR for accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Adhere to facility dress code and unit-specific protocols throughout the duration of the assignment
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in New York State
- Minimum of 2 years of ICU staff experience specifically involving trauma, surgical, and neurological ICU patients
- Trauma Level One facility experience required
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Proficiency with Epic EMR required
- Must be available to complete a competency assessment within 24 hours of submission
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience managing high-acuity neurological and post-surgical patient populations simultaneously
- Familiarity with large academic medical center environments and associated protocols
- Willingness and availability to accept 48-hour workweeks
