Registered Nurse – Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Inpatient Observation Unit

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 28-bed Inpatient Observation Unit in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
• Manage a diverse patient population ranging from lower to higher acuity, including medical beds, trauma overflow beds, and mid-level holds
• Adapt to changing patient acuity and clinical needs within the unit
• Float to other areas of competency as needed
• Participate in holiday coverage as expected per unit staffing requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a like specialty within an acute care setting
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification preferred
• Prior experience in an observation unit or ED-adjacent environment
• Comfort working with a broad range of patient acuity levels
