Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced 30-bed Medical ICU setting
Manage a complex patient population including sepsis, heart failure, hypertensive emergency, respiratory failure, COPD, chronic kidney disease, and status epilepticus
Care for patients presenting with encephalopathy, alcohol use/abuse, and substance abuse diagnoses
Operate and monitor mechanical ventilators and drips
Maintain ACLS and BLS certifications in accordance with unit requirements
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum 3 years of ICU experience
ACLS certification required
BLS certification required
Proficiency with mechanical ventilators and drip management
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience managing patients with Type 2 diabetes and chronic kidney disease in a critical care setting
Familiarity with high-acuity neurological conditions such as encephalopathy and status epilepticus
