    TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Batavia, New York, 14020!

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:00) | Every Other Weekend Coverage | Float to Med/Surg Required

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide intensive care nursing for a diverse patient population ranging from young adults to elderly, including those on ventilators, titratable drips, and managing substance abuse withdrawal
    • Manage patients with cardiac, respiratory, neurological, and GI diagnoses, as well as post-operative patients
    • Perform and assist with specialized procedures including A-lines, central lines, intubations, chest tubes, and open abdomens; operate specialized equipment such as the GlideScope
    • Titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips, administer continuous IV sedation and paralytics, and manage IV insulin protocols
    • Perform ventilator management, BiPAP/CPAP management, arterial blood gas interpretation, and care of fresh tracheostomy patients
    • Float to Med/Surg as needed and document all care using EPIC (required)
    Required Qualifications
    • Active, unencumbered New York (NY) RN license — must be in hand at time of submission
    • Minimum 2 years of ICU experience; experience with a 1:3 patient ratio required
    • EPIC proficiency is a hard requirement
    • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS
    • Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible
    • No more than 10 days of requested time off (RTO) will be considered
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience in Medical ICU, Neuro ICU, and/or Surgical ICU settings
    • Proficiency in CVA/acute stroke management, hypothermia protocol/Arctic Sun, and pulmonary embolism/edema management
    • Experience with procedural sedation, blood product administration, PICC line management, and accessing/managing ports
    • Prior travel nursing experience preferred; first-time travelers may be considered on a case-by-case basis
