Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 Hours per Week | Projected Start: July 13, 2026
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in a 16-bed ICU/CCU unit with patient ratios of 2:1, occasionally 3:1
Operate and monitor advanced equipment including Impella, GE monitors, Temporary Pacemakers, EKOS, IABP, Artic Sun, and hemodynamic monitoring devices
Assist with and support procedures including central line insertions and dialysis catheter insertions
Document patient care accurately using the Meditech electronic documentation system
Float in rotation with core staffing as required per unit floating policy
Collaborate within a team-oriented environment alongside unit secretaries and technicians based on census needs
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Kentucky or compact state eligibility
Minimum 2 years of ICU/CCU experience
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
Proficiency with critical care equipment and hemodynamic monitoring
Strong critical thinking skills and self-motivated work ethic
Compliance with dress code: scrubs in any color (no denim, capris, or camouflage)
Preferred Experience / Skills
PALS certification
Prior experience with Meditech documentation system
Experience with specialty procedures such as central line or dialysis catheter insertions in a critical care setting
