Registered Nurse – ICU

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 12-hour rotating shifts (days/nights), every other weekend | 72 guaranteed hours biweekly

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an intensive care unit setting across rotating day and night shifts
• Float between the ICU and IMCU as needed
• Manage and monitor patients requiring advanced cardiac devices, including IABP and IMPELLA
• Apply CT surgery nursing expertise to support complex, critically ill patient populations
• Participate in a weekend rotation (every other weekend) and cover 2 required holidays if working through the winter holiday period

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
• ACLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
• EPIC electronic health record proficiency required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar ICU or critical care setting
• CT surgery nursing experience and hands-on experience with devices such as IABP and IMPELLA required
• Must be separated from BILH for a minimum of 6 months to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience floating between ICU and step-down or intermediate care units (IMCU)
• Comfort working rotating shifts including nights and weekends in a high-acuity environment
