Travel Nurse RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care in Cambridge, MA

Contract | 12-Hour Night Shifts | Every Other Weekend Rotation | Expected 72 Hours Biweekly (on-call hours not included)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an ICU setting, with expected float coverage between ICU and IMCU as needed
• Operate and monitor advanced cardiac assist devices, including IABP and IMPELLA
• Care for CT surgery patients, applying specialized clinical knowledge and critical care protocols
• Participate in weekend rotation (every other weekend) and fulfill holiday shift obligations when working through winter holiday periods (2 holidays required)
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic health records

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
• ACLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar ICU or critical care setting
• Demonstrated experience with CT surgery patients and advanced cardiac devices (IABP, IMPELLA)
• Proficiency in EPIC electronic health records system required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience floating between ICU and IMCU environments
• Familiarity with BILH system requirements and submission processes
