Travel Nurse RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care in Cambridge, MA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 12-hour shifts | Every other weekend rotation | 2 holidays required if working through winter holidays | Expected 72 hours biweekly (on-call hours not included)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an ICU setting during 12-hour night shifts
• Float between ICU and IMCU as needed
• Utilize EPIC electronic health records system for documentation and patient management
• Manage patients requiring CT surgery care and advanced cardiac support devices
• Participate in weekend rotation on an every-other-weekend basis

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
• ACLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
• EPIC proficiency required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar ICU setting
• CT surgery experience and hands-on experience with devices such as IABP and Impella required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience floating between ICU and step-down or intermediate care units
• Familiarity with high-acuity cardiac patient populations
