Schedule / Job TypeContract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | 36 or 48 hours per week available | 13-Week Assignment
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a Medical ICU setting with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Manage complex, multi-system failure patients with co-morbid conditions including sepsis, pneumonia, GI bleed, and organ failure
- Deliver care across a 28-bed ICU environment spanning two units
- Accurately document all patient care activities using Epic electronic health records
- Float within scope of practice to other units within the facility as needed per float policy
Required Qualifications- Active RN license in Virginia (pending license accepted at time of submission; must be in-hand by the Wednesday prior to start date)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (copies must be submitted with application)
- Minimum of Level 1 Trauma/ICU experience required
- Proficiency with Epic electronic health records system
- Willingness to adhere to facility float policy within scope of practice
- Nursys verification required at time of submittal
Preferred Experience / Skills- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Prior travel nursing experience in an ICU or critical care setting
