Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a 9-bed ICU with patient ratios of 2:1 and 3:1 in an all-RN staff environment
- Manage ventilators, Alaris IV pumps, and GE monitors; perform IV drip titration and arterial line management
- Support and assist with procedures including intubation, central line insertions, and arterial line insertions
- Document patient care accurately using the Meditech documentation system
- Participate in self-scheduling with manager oversight, including 3–4 weekend shifts per schedule period
- Float as needed to Med-Surg or ED to support critical staffing needs; adhere to patient experience standards including AIDET and bedside shift report (BSSR)
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Proficiency with ventilator management and IV drip titration
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Compliance with required dress code: Navy Blue Scrubs
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience supporting new graduate RNs in a clinical setting
- Familiarity with Meditech electronic documentation system
- Background working in a Chest Pain Center or Stroke-accredited facility
