Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) setting
• Monitor and assess critically ill patients, interpreting ECG rhythms and responding to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Participate in required orientation assessments including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate evaluations
• Work rotating holiday coverage, including at least every other holiday

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of combined permanent experience in the ICU/SICU specialty; travel experience in SICU will be considered
• Active permanent Ohio RN license or valid Compact State license in hand at time of submission
• Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification required
• Active ACLS certification required
• Active NIHSS certification required
• Must pass ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation (maximum of 2 attempts permitted)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 18 months of SICU experience within a single location preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience in an ICU or SICU environment
• Familiarity with annual hands-on competency requirements in a large health system setting
