Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Expected 36 hours/week | 4 weekend shifts per schedule | No on-call required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 30-bed ICU setting with patient ratios of 1:1, 2:1, and 3:1 depending on acuity
• Manage patients requiring ventilator support and cardiovascular drips
• Assist with or support procedures including thoracentesis and arterial line and central line placement
• Operate and monitor specialized equipment including CRRT and IABP (Impella experience not required)
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system
• Float to the IMU as needed per unit guidelines

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in Texas (or compact eligibility)
• Minimum 1 year of ICU experience
• Demonstrated experience with ventilator management and cardiovascular drips
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Royal blue scrubs required per dress code

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Neuro ICU experience strongly preferred
• Familiarity with CRRT, IABP, or Impella devices
• Prior experience with Meditech EMR
