Travel Nurse RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care in Conroe, TX

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Expected 4 weekend shifts per schedule | No on-call required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 30-bed ICU setting with patient ratios of 1:1, 2:1, and 3:1 depending on acuity
• Manage patients requiring ventilator support and cardiovascular drip administration
• Assist with or support procedures including thoracentesis, arterial line placement, and central line placement
• Operate specialized equipment such as CRRT, IABP, and Impella as applicable (experience with these not mandatory)
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system
• Float to the IMU as needed per unit staffing requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in the state of Texas
• Minimum 1 year of ICU experience
• Demonstrated experience with ventilator management and cardiovascular drips
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Neuro ICU experience strongly preferred
• Familiarity with CRRT, IABP, or Impella devices
• Prior experience with Meditech EMR
