    Travel RN – ICU (Days) / 13-Week Contract

    Location

    Corpus Christi, Texas

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Travel | Full-Time | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Onsite | 13-Week Assignment | Projected Start: August 2026

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a 24-bed ICU setting with patient ratios of 1:1 or 1:2
    • Operate and monitor advanced equipment including ventilators, Swan-Ganz catheters, Impella devices, and intra-aortic balloon pumps
    • Assist with and monitor procedures including intubation, central line placement, bronchoscopy, EVD placement, ICP monitoring, pacers, and bolts
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team including charge nurses, unit secretaries, and support staff across day shift operations
    • Float to a sister ICU unit as needed based on staffing requirements
    • Participate in every-other-weekend scheduling and remain available for on-call status within the scheduled shift only
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Texas or compact state eligibility
    • Minimum 1 year of ICU nursing experience (candidates without ICU experience will not be considered)
    • Current BLS certification
    • Current ACLS certification
    • Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience in a Level 1 or Level 2 trauma center
    • Cardiovascular surgery experience
