Travel Nurse RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care in Cottonwood, AZ

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days, 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Every Other Weekend Required | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the ICU with staffing ratios of 1:1 or 1:2, and in MS/Tele with ratios of 1:4 or 1:5
• Float between ICU and Medical Surgical/Telemetry units based on census and staffing needs as part of a flex pool
• Administer medications in accordance with facility quality and patient safety standards, including Barcode Medication Administration (BCMA)
• Utilize Cerner electronic health record system for clinical documentation
• Operate standard med/surg and telemetry equipment, including Liko patient lifts available in most patient rooms
• Adhere to all facility patient safety protocols and quality standards

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Arizona RN license or valid compact state license (pending licensure accepted at time of submission)
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience
• Willingness and ability to float between ICU and MS/Tele units without restrictions
• Availability to work every other weekend and 2 facility-recognized holidays during the assignment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in both ICU and PCU/Step-Down settings
• Strong Medical Surgical/Telemetry background with well-rounded clinical skills
• Prior experience with Cerner electronic health records
