Travel Nurse RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care in Decatur, GA

Contract | Nights | 3 x 12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an intensive care unit setting
• Monitor and manage critically ill patients requiring advanced hemodynamic support
• Perform and document neurological assessments using NIHSS
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Respond to changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate interventions in a timely manner

Required Qualifications

• Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license — must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• NIHSS certification required
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local travelers will not be considered

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with pulmonary artery (PA) catheter monitoring
• Experience with intracranial pressure (ICP) monitoring
• Experience with intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP) management
• Experience with continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT)
