Schedule / Job TypeContract | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend & Every Other Holiday | Holiday coverage required
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in an intensive care unit setting during night shift hours
- Monitor and assess critically ill patients, responding promptly to changes in condition
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders and established protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments and care provided
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa or compact licensure
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Prior experience in an ICU or critical care setting
- Ability to work night shifts, every other weekend, and assigned holidays
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience with critically ill or complex patient populations in an acute care environment
- Familiarity with critical care monitoring equipment and technology
