Registered Nurse – ICU (Float)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 12-Hour Shifts | Every third weekend required | 8-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide critical care nursing for a 10-bed ICU serving a diverse adult patient population, including medical emergencies, post-surgical care, respiratory failure, and sepsis
• Manage and stabilize stroke patients in alignment with Primary Stroke Center protocols, utilizing tele-stroke and tele-neurology services as needed
• Support stabilization of acutely ill pediatric patients when indicated, coordinating transfer to tertiary pediatric centers as appropriate
• Float within the ICU setting as needed to meet unit staffing demands
• Collaborate with intensivists, hospitalists, and specialty service teams to deliver coordinated patient care
• Accurately document all patient care activities using Epic EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in New Hampshire or compact state equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience required
• ACLS certification (AHA) required
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a community hospital ICU setting
• Familiarity with tele-stroke or neurology protocols
• Experience floating across critical care units
