    Job Title

    Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – ICU

    Location

    Gadsden, Alabama

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every other weekend required | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting during night shift hours
    • Monitor and manage ventilated patients, ensuring appropriate respiratory support and documentation
    • Administer and titrate vasoactive drips in accordance with physician orders and unit protocols
    • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans for critically ill patients
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
    • Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and responses using the facility EMR system
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Alabama RN license or active Multistate (Compact) RN license in good standing (no prior NURSYS hits)
    • Minimum of 2 years of ICU RN experience
    • Current ACLS certification
    • Current BLS certification
    • Experience managing ventilated patients and vasoactive drip therapy
    • Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify as a travel placement
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience working with Cerner electronic medical records (EMR)
    • Prior travel nursing experience in an ICU or critical care environment
