Registered Nurse – ICU / Float Pool

Contract | Nights, 3x12 Hours (19:00–07:30) | Every Other Weekend | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care as part of a float pool, rotating between CCU, Medical/Surgical, Telemetry, and Rehabilitation units as needed
- Deliver high-quality nursing care during overnight shifts in an acute care environment
- Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions using EPIC electronic health records
- Adapt clinical practice to varying patient populations across assigned units, including potential care of COVID-positive patients
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure continuity and quality of patient care
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license with no license hits
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA or ARC only
- Experience with EPIC electronic health records
- Ability to float to CCU, Medical/Surgical, Telemetry, and Rehabilitation units as needed
- Willingness to work every other weekend and holidays as needed
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Strong EPIC charting proficiency is heavily preferred
- Prior float pool or multi-unit experience in an acute care setting
- Comfort and experience caring for a diverse patient population including ICU and step-down level patients
