Provide direct patient care in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting during night shift hours
Utilize EPIC electronic health record system for documentation and patient management
Monitor and assess critically ill patients, implementing appropriate nursing interventions
Float to Med Surg/Telemetry unit when patient census or staffing needs require
Adhere to facility dress code: personal scrubs of any solid color — no designs, cartoons, or hoodies
Required Qualifications
Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license — must be current and verified via Nursys
Minimum 5 years of RN experience required
Minimum 3 years of ICU/CCU experience required
EPIC experience required — proficiency must be noted on profile
BLS certification (AHA) required — must be current and uploaded with profile
ACLS certification (AHA) required — must be current and uploaded with profile
Prior travel nursing experience required
Must have own personal vehicle
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
Must be willing to float to Med Surg/Telemetry when needed
Completion of verbal de-escalation training through an approved provider (Welle or CPI) required for onboarding
Must be able to commit to the full assignment schedule — no scheduling accommodations can be considered
Requested time off must be disclosed at time of submission; no more than 5 days of RTO will be accepted
Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility or in select New York counties (Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, or Washington) are eligible but may be subject to adjusted bill rate terms
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience working in a high-acuity community hospital or regional medical center environment
Familiarity with coronary care or telemetry monitoring in addition to ICU practice
Strong adaptability and comfort floating between units as needed
