Provide bedside critical care nursing for a pulmonary critical care population including patients with acute respiratory failure, septic shock, ARDS, multisystem organ failure, and renal failure
Manage arterial lines, central venous lines, and invasive and non-invasive hemodynamic monitoring
Administer and titrate multiple continuous intravenous drips including high-dose vasopressors, sedatives, and paralytics
Perform and support emergency event management utilizing ACLS protocols, post cardiac arrest care, and targeted temperature management
Assist with or manage continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), pronation therapy, and neuromuscular blocking agents with nerve stimulation monitoring
Care for organ donor patients including brain death donation and donation after cardiac death
Required Qualifications
Active RN license (Compact license accepted)
Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience
Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association
Current ACLS certification through the American Heart Association
Ability to read and interpret cardiac rhythm strips
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience with esophageal varices management including Blakemore tube placement
Familiarity with pulmonary hypertension, pulmonary embolism, and advanced airway management
Experience caring for COVID-19 patients and managing infectious disease protocols
