Travel Nurse RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care in Hagerstown, MD

Contract | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an ICU setting with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Care for a patient population that includes Trauma, Cardiovascular, Stroke, and Neurological cases
• Float within scope to the IMC unit as needed to meet facility demands
• Document patient care and clinical information using EPIC
• Adhere to facility scheduling requirements, including every-other-weekend availability and holiday coverage

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (pending license considered)
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience with strong clinical background; 3+ years preferred
• Proficiency in EPIC electronic health records system required
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; exceptions are not typically made for this specialty
• First-time travel nurses are not eligible for this position

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 3 or more years of ICU nursing experience
• Experience with Trauma, Cardiovascular, Stroke, or Neurological patient populations
• Familiarity with IMC-level care and ability to float comfortably within scope
