Travel Nurse RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care in Hagerstown, MD

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an ICU setting with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Care for a patient population including Trauma, Cardiovascular, Stroke, and Neurological cases
• Float within scope to the IMC unit as needed to meet facility demands
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic health records system
• Participate in every-other-weekend scheduling requirements, including some holidays

Required Qualifications

• Active or pending RN license (pending license considered)
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience with strong clinical background; 3+ years preferred
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR required
• First-time travel nurses are not eligible for this position
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; exceptions are not typically granted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 3 or more years of ICU nursing experience
• Experience with trauma, cardiovascular, stroke, or neurological patient populations
• Familiarity with IMC-level care and floating protocols
