Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting during overnight shifts
- Monitor and assess critically ill patients, responding promptly to changes in condition
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Texas or compact licensure eligibility
- Minimum of 1 year of ICU nursing experience
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Ability to work 12-hour overnight shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)
- Compliance with all facility health screening and credentialing requirements
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous travel nursing experience in an ICU environment
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems used in acute care settings
- CCRN or other critical care certification
