Key Responsibilities- Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for ICU patients
- Maintain professional accountability for the provision of direct patient care
- Evaluate the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers on the unit
- Coordinate patient care activities in conjunction with other departments and interdisciplinary teams
- Maintain patient rights and ensure confidentiality of all patient information
- Perform duties in a manner consistent with established mission, values, and service standards
Required Qualifications- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license; must be eligible for or currently licensed in the state of Missouri
- Minimum of 3 years of ICU nursing experience
- BLS certification required
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR
- Ability to work weekend hours as needed
- Closed-toe shoes required; open-toed shoes are not permitted
Preferred Experience / Skills- ACLS certification preferred
- PALS certification preferred
- Prior travel nursing experience in an ICU setting
