Registered Nurse – ICU (Nights)

Contract | Full-Time | Night Shift | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
Use clinical judgment to diagnose and treat patient responses to actual or potential health conditions in an ICU setting
Provide specialized care for critically ill patients, including those requiring ventilator management, CRRT, and balloon pump support
Care for cardiovascular patients including those post-procedure for PTCA, stents, TAVR, MitraClip, and bi-ventricular pacemakers
Support care of open heart surgery patients in the post-operative period
Manage patients with congestive heart failure and those undergoing electrophysiology studies
Float to similar units such as Neuro, CVICU, or Trauma as needed
Required Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of direct ICU experience (float experience does not qualify)
EKG experience required
Willingness to float to similar units required
Active Michigan RN license (LARA and Nursys verification required)
Current ACLS certification
Current BLS certification
Skills checklist completed within one year of application required
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience in Neuro, CVICU, or Trauma settings
Ventilator management experience
Experience with CRRT and intra-aortic balloon pumps
