Travel RN – Medical Surgical ICU (Days)

Contract | Travel | Days – 3x12 | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week | 13-Week Assignment

• Implement and monitor individualized patient care plans within a combined Medical Surgical ICU and Stepdown unit
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition changes to the appropriate members of the healthcare team
• Serve as the primary coordinator across all disciplines to ensure well-coordinated patient care
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders accurately and in a timely manner
• Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs in collaboration with the healthcare team
• Float to other areas of the unit as needed based on census and acuity

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of ICU or Medical Surgical ICU experience
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Ability to float as needed within the unit
• Availability to work weekend hours as needed

• Experience with EPIC EMR
• Familiarity with Spacelab bedside monitoring equipment
• Experience caring for stepdown patients in addition to ICU-level acuity
