Shift: Days – 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
Hours: 36 hours/week guaranteed OR 48 hours
Shift Length: 12 hours

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Critical Care RN in Pittsfield, MA. The RN will provide high-quality care to critically ill patients in a 20-bed Critical Care unit with an approximate 1:2 patient ratio.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients.
• Monitor and manage patients requiring advanced critical care interventions.
• Manage ventilated patients and patients requiring ICP and hemodynamic monitoring.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
• Float to PCU when required by the facility.
• Follow facility policies, safety standards, and infection-control procedures.

Required Qualifications

• 2 years of current Critical Care experience – Required
• Current Massachusetts RN license – Must be in hand
• BLS – American Heart Association – Required
• ACLS – American Heart Association – Required
• NIHSS – Required
• Ventilator experience
• ICP monitoring experience
• Hemodynamic monitoring experience
• Willingness to float to PCU – Required
