Travel Nurse RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care in Plymouth, MA

Contract | 12-Hour Night Shifts | Rotating Weekends and Holidays | Expected 72 hours biweekly

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with medical and/or surgical critical care needs in a 14-bed Critical Care Unit with 24-hour intensivist coverage
• Manage ventilator settings and perform ongoing respiratory assessments
• Titrate vasoactive medications and sedation per protocol
• Perform hemodynamic monitoring and interpret findings to guide care
• Recognize and manage cardiac dysrhythmias, including post-STEMI care
• Maintain evidence of relevant continuing education in critical care

Required Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts RN license required at time of submission
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• Current ACLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Demonstrated competency in core critical care skills: ventilator management, vasoactive and sedation titration, hemodynamic monitoring, cardiac dysrhythmia recognition and management, and post-STEMI care
• Local candidates are welcome to apply

Preferred Experience / Skills

• CCRN certification preferred
• Strong telemetry and ECG interpretation skills
• Experience with medication management in a critical care setting
