Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Onsite | Expected 48 hours/week | 75% weekend commitment expected

Key Responsibilities

• Float across multiple ICU units including Medical ICU, Neuro ICU, Surgical/Trauma ICU, and Cardiac/CTICU based on experience and unit need
• Float to Intermediate Care (IMC) units as needed, maintaining a patient ratio of 1:3
• Provide care for standard ICU patients including sedated, intubated, and patients on vasopressors; high-complexity cases such as CRRT are not expected
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:2 in ICU settings
• Demonstrate flexibility with assignments, including the potential to accept multiple different unit assignments within a single shift
• Document and manage patient care using EPIC EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in Maine or compact state eligibility
• Minimum of 3 years of ICU experience in an acute care hospital setting
• Willingness and ability to float to multiple ICU and IMC units as assigned
• Acute care hospital experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience across multiple ICU subspecialties (Medical, Neuro, Surgical/Trauma, Cardiac)
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR
• Strong team communication skills and commitment to outstanding patient care
• Self-motivated with the ability to adapt quickly to varying unit environments and patient populations
