Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a 25-bed ICU at a 2:1 patient-to-nurse ratio
- Titrate vasoactive and inotrope medications and manage hemodynamic monitoring equipment
- Assist with and monitor patients following intubation, central line and arterial line placement, and chest tube placement
- Operate and interpret data from GE Monitors, Hamilton BiPAPs and high-flow devices, Puritan ventilators, and Hemospheres
- Complete bedside shift report and update MyCare boards at each change of shift
- Document patient care accurately using Meditech Expanse electronic health record system
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
- Strong telemetry skills
- Experience titrating vasoactive and inotrope medications
- Chest tube experience
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
Preferred Experience / Skills- Open heart surgery patient care experience
- Temporary pacing experience
- Swan-Ganz catheter experience
