Travel Nurse RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care in Rhinelander, WI

Contract (7 Weeks) | 12-Hour Rotating Shifts | Every other weekend and every other holiday expected

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a critical care / CCU setting with a 1:2 patient ratio
• Float to alike units within skillset; floating to additional locations within a 40-mile radius may be pre-scheduled as needed
• Care for an occasional pediatric surgical patient population, including ENT and orthopedic cases
• Utilize EPIC electronic health records system for clinical documentation
• Adhere to all facility infection control policies, including masking requirements during flu season for staff who decline flu and COVID vaccination
• Be available for on-call assignments; call-back minimum is 2 hours

Required Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin RN License
• AHA or Red Cross BLS Certification
• AHA or Red Cross ACLS Certification
• AHA or Red Cross PALS Certification
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior critical access or rural hospital experience strongly preferred
• Familiarity with EPIC charting system (no prior EPIC experience required)
• Comfort and experience with occasional pediatric patient populations
