Travel Nurse RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care in Roaring Spring, PA

Travel RN – ICU (Nights)

Roaring Spring, Pennsylvania

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week | Every Other Weekend Required

• Provide direct patient care in a 4-bed ICU serving adult and geriatric populations
• Manage and monitor patients with diagnoses including DKA, STEMI, CVA, and respiratory failure
• Operate and monitor critical care equipment including ventilators, IABP, arterial lines, and CPAP
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic health records
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:4 depending on patient acuity and status
• Float to MedSurg unit as needed when ICU census is low

• Valid Pennsylvania Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications
• Must meet all Pennsylvania state pre-employment screening requirements, including PA Child Abuse History Clearance, Department of Human Services fingerprinting, FBI Department of Aging fingerprinting, and PA State Police (PATCH) clearance
• All clearances must be completed and verified prior to start date

• Experience with ventilator management, IABP, arterial lines, and CPAP in a critical care setting
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records system
• Experience caring for adult and geriatric ICU patient populations

• Work at a Trauma Level IV facility serving a unique suburban and rural patient community in central Pennsylvania
• Gain critical care experience in a focused, close-knit ICU environment with a projected start date of June 2026
