Registered Nurse – ICU (Critical Care)

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | 3 x 12-hour shifts | 36 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients in an ICU setting with minimal guidance
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans for the critical care population
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to arrhythmias
- Care for patients with complex and acute conditions, including infectious disease presentations
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Accurately document all patient care activities and clinical findings in the electronic health record
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 2 years of critical care experience required
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
- Basic Arrhythmia competency with an exam score of 85% or greater required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Epic electronic health record system
- Prior experience caring for COVID-positive patients
