Registered Nurse (RN) – ICU
LocationRoswell, New Mexico
Schedule / Job TypeContract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | Every Other Weekend Required | On-Call Required | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in an ICU setting with a patient ratio of 1:2
- Float to Stepdown and Medical/Surgical departments as needed, with Stepdown ratios of 1:3–4
- Utilize Cerner EMR for documentation and patient management
- Participate in on-call requirements as assigned (infrequently needed)
- Adhere to holiday scheduling requirements, including at least one winter holiday
- Work within a 16-bed unit managing a mix of ICU, Stepdown, and Medical/Surgical overflow patients
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Current NIHSS certification
- Ability and willingness to float to Stepdown and Medical/Surgical departments
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience with Cerner EMR
- Prior travel nursing experience
- Comfort working in a mixed-acuity environment including ICU and Stepdown patients
