Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 6-bed Intensive Care Unit serving adult and geriatric populations
• Monitor, assess, and manage critically ill patients including those with diagnoses such as COPD exacerbation
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently using the Meditech EHR system
• Float to other units as required based on facility staffing needs
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in North Carolina or a compact state
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience
• Current required certifications applicable to ICU practice
• Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to qualify for travel rates
• Ability to float to additional units as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with Meditech electronic health record system
• Experience caring for geriatric and adult critical care patient populations
• Familiarity with managing COPD exacerbation and similar acute respiratory conditions
